simply put: for all aff networks using cake, you don't use the s1 parameter for tracker subid's. simply change that to s2. depending on the tracker, they have their own tokens. the subID simply is a unique code generated by your tracker so it knows where your conversion came from. the other "s" parameters you can use later if you like

so for CPVlabs, you leave it blank such as:

Code:
http://adstrx.com/?a=123&c=123&s2=
for Voluum, you add the {clickid} at the end such as:

Code:
http://adstrx.com/?a=123&c=123&s2={clickid}

not sure about decisive, but when you add an offer on the tracker, it will tell you which token to put in

Personally, I tend to use s1 for my campaign ID. If I need to track down a conversion problem at a later date, it really helps to have a record of which campaign was associated with which subids in the affiliate network records.

Of course, I don't use the same campaign name I'm using in my tracker! But I'll use something that I can remember.

So my offer URLs end up looking like

Code:
http://adstrx.com/?a=123&c=123&s1=wibblecampaign&s2=[[subid]]
