Well I want to try PPV with various ecommerce websites (not amazon/ebay), preferrably smaller ones.
Forgive me if i'm being naive here, but it seems damn too easy with PPV - pop a affiliate link on some ecommerce website, and you get the commission on any sale that you get(as most of them has 24 hours cookie policy).
So is it really that easy or I am not thinking clearly and missing on some catch here.
So I just need guidance on what is to be taken care of while popping direct ecommerce affiliate links.
Would prefer if you could be as detailed as possible.
i did this back in 09 on every site except for amazon...most companies caught on and eventually banned me, or the ppv competition made it not profitable...you need to cloak and do a lot of other things...also, you're basically stealing commissions so you need to consider how ethical it is....
like i said, I did this in 09 for about $150k net revenue over the year so I can't judge...but now that I am older, I probably wouldn't do it again...better ways to build a sustainable business
also, here is a story of someone who did the basically the same thing: http://www.businessinsider.com/shawn...ng-scam-2014-5
good luck!
Yes and no. Depends on attitude of advertiser. In general it comes to same thing. Visitor is on that page anyway so there is a chance they would have bought. I would stay away from it. In general you might end up in losing cash.
What is valid is poping competitors shop. So if webpage is sephora go with avon on it etc.
Thanks,
