linkedin is making $51 every minute. $51 x 1443 (minutes in a day) = $73440

There are few marketers who make more than that in a day This is why one should do affiliate marketing :P

To be fair, I think LinkedIn's overheads are a bit higher than those of most affiliates, too

Well, given that LinkedIn is worth US$18 billion in market capitalisation, I for one would personally prefer to be even just a 10% owner of LinkedIn ...

Wow, I never realized that Apple is so huge. It makes almost 200% more profit than Microsoft.

It is important to realize as well that a lot of the vertically integrated companies and supermajors will operate divisions and territories at a loss to maintain market position and drive competitors out of business.
