Tracking Facebook Ads

In PPC campaigns we pass info like 'keyword' and 'match type' to url using url parameters. What info do you pass in Facebook to url?

Thanks!

You can setup custom tracking tokens and pass anything you like. Nothing gets passed automatically, however its recommended to at least track the ad name by creating a custom token for it and then setting it manually for each ad separately.

Thanks, apart from ad name. What other info should we pass to track our ads better.

Depends on what your testing. If all traffic is from US then you dont need a token for country. If your testing different ages then put a token for age, etc

Country. Gender. Age bracket. Creative Name. Angle. Targeting. Bidding mode. Ad type. All are things you may want to pass though for some you should use less than obvious identifiers - no point giving away your entire campaign in a URL.
