Campaign setup step by step

Hello all

Just got accepted to F5 media, registered to Voluum and also to decisive.is. Initial testing budget for mobile to 20$ daily.

What kind of mobile offer do you recommend me to start?

Also in F5 media if i select a country for example Italy, i see offers that accept US traffic only. So why is that?

I see
[WAP] Battery Doctor iOS - US
CPA
$0.80

Is this good to start with?

Thank you

I'd recommend starting with a non-US offer, simply because the competition is less.

Ask your AM for recommendations - in particular, ask what mobile offers are doing significant volume right now.

PIN submits or app installs are both good to start with - the first job is to test a lot of offers and a lot of angles, and see what works well. Don't be afraid to cut angles or offers that aren't working!

With $20 a day you should be able to test an angle every two days.

Looking forward to hearing how you get on!

Caurmen thank you.

My am recommended me 6 offers. How many of them can i test with my budget?

With your budget I would go max 1-2 per day.

Running 6 offers with that budget you would have to run for couple weeks to get any useful data.

Bbrock thank you.

So you recommend i test 1 offer one day and 1 offer the other day and so on?

^ Yep exactly , test offer 1 , if it's a loser NEXT!

Thank you

Do i have to test direct linking it or do i have to make lps?

Depends a lot on the offer, there is no fixed rule.

Generally I have the best luck running landers but I know a lot of people that just do DL.

Again thank you for your help bbrock.

I have received the top offers excel sheet from am

1. I read that you recommend to select offers by volume. I see the volume numbers for different offers are 1, 4,10,20, 30 etc. How can i interpret this? This volume is 1k, 10k, 30k?

2. I see for example the epc for an offer is 0.05 and payout 0.45. This means i have to bid to 0.05 or more on traffic source for this kind of offer?

Thanks

1) I believe that's volume rank. So 1 is the biggest offer on the network, 2 is the second biggest, and so on. (F5 folk, please correct me if I'm wrong on that!).

2) No, that just means that - on average - affiliates are making $0.05 per click they send to the offer. Average EPCs are really misleading, and I'd usually recommend not paying too much attention to them.

Thank you Caurmen

You are right, it's the volume rank. I decided to start with android app install - br only traffic. Do you recommend me to start with banner or text add? I will translate the text of add to br language and i will try 320x50 and 216x36 size. The most used android device is Motorola Moto G, Samsung Galaxy Y, Samsung GT-i8190L Galaxy S3 Mini so i will optimise primarily for this kind of devices.

Try a mixture of as many wildly differing styles as you can initially - text-only banner, images, animation, Facebook style, etc.
