Anyone else getting crazy Click Costs on their campaigns? I noticed the click costs sky rocket 3x - 6x on my campaigns since late last week.

It's happened to me for the last few weeks, since end of March or so. Used to get 1-3c clicks, now lucky to get 8c clicks. CVR is steady, but it's no longer viable for me to run dating on FB (at least at the moment).
Hoping they fix this soon.
I'm getting $1.50+ per post engagement on my new campaigns. Is it due to starting of new campaigns? It has spent a few hundreds dollars already and I had to pause it due to the high click costs.
Country? What type of bid mode are you using?
OPCM same observation. Not like before. Price increased 5x-8x.
I test 15 geos. ( all dating )
Yes. RHS impressions have decreased as they will focus more on News Feed.
That means lower CTR for RHS (it's less prominent, there's refreshing happening to pad out impressions too, so not really prime ad space).
More competition in News Feed means higher prices there.
And unfortunately, News Feed impressions are limited for every user, in order for FB to keep people happy (the Feed is their future and they can't be smashing ads onto it). This adds onto the click cost.
RHS was great because it had no impression cap per day and the truly best ads could fit in while other advertisers would still get their volume in the worst placements. Now, all the inventory is taken all the time.
I think we will have some luck when the new RHS ad formats are released. It will be a decent balance.
We've all but confirmed the issue, but no big blogs are reporting on the downfall of the current RHS ads (seriously, prices are multiples of what they were). All of the advertising agencies that release aggregate data are also quiet; most likely, they are pushing News Feed ads heavily to justify creative costs etc. I think News Feed is 'sexier' but for dating, I don't think it's the best option.
Profits have declined a lot. I wonder how people still making profit
I only have one dating ad running bro. And I thought I deleted all of them lol. Was like "hmm all these cookie conversions a week after I deleted my shit!" That ad is doing well, but it's so small scale.
There's that thread about "magical CVR" and it's 4%. Well my dating stuff converts at 5-6% on Prosper (tracking) and more than 12% on the network, and it's barely breakeven (not worth the risk of running titties).
However, just think of the profits when the new RHS ads are introduced and we get a fair shake again. Let's wait it out. Dating will be back...

Network CR 15%+ but is barely breakeven.
Dating on fb should be profitable at 8ct per click? Its not that much...
^^ When you factor in duplicate clicks (sometimes more than 50% are repeat visitors in a 24-hour period) the clicks can nearly double in cost. Add onto that the fact that you can't always be direct (so need to use cloaking angles in some geos, especially all English countries), can't day-part properly (not even week-part with scheduling) etc. then things aren't looking peachy.
same situation here, the CPC is 2x higher in last 30 days, and the daily budget is not spending....
Same here.
We're seeing click costs 3x - 7x more depending on the campaigns CTR. So it looks like FB has increased the floor pricing on their ads. Not looking very good.
Is everyone here using RHS or are you seeing NF price increases also?
NF not working for dating. I think diet/skin/muscle have much better scope on NF
