Hello guys,
Should I target login count? My offer has been around for about 3 years and most probably it's going to be a tough nut to crack. I'm planning to target <250 login count. Does my plan seems ideal?
However, when I tried to make a new POF account, it seems that making a new account is like a pain in the ass. It keeps on saying password too easy to guess. I supposed that would reduce the number of new POF users which would make my <250 login count targeting useless.
If you're going to target a high login count - and I'd usually recommend it - you should target high.
<50 is my usual go-to targeting. You can go a bit broader than that if you want to - I know ffclogin recommends <100.
But you certainly don't want to go any broader than <100 to preserve the freshness of the new logins.
Entirely depends on your targeting. What are your targeting parameters?
My targeting parameters are as follows:
Country = United States
Age Between = 26, 30
Gender = Male
Marital Status = Single, Divorced, Separated
Browser/Mobile ≠ Android Tablet, iPad, Android Phone, iPhone
Country = United States
Age Between = 31, 35
Gender = Male
Marital Status = Single, Divorced, Separated
Browser/Mobile ≠ Android Tablet, iPad, Android Phone, iPhone
First thing: unless it's key to your angle, I'd recommend removing the marital status targeting. It won't do much except drive your bid up.
For both those age groups, I'd start bidding around the $0.52 range. However, experiment with your bid.
If you have a bit of time, the best thing to do is to try a range of bids for 15 minutes apiece and see how the volume changes. Test BIG bid differences - I usually start by putting the bid at $5 for 15 minutes (watching very, very carefully, and with a daily max spend set, just in case) to see how much traffic is available at the absolute maximum, then start going down from there, a dollar at a time to begin with.
