Starting with mobile....

Hello.

I hope you are all well.

I am just starting my journey to affiliate marketing (with no prior experience) and i want to dedicate all my tight budget of 500$ only to learn mobile marketing. I have the same old (newbie) question.

What tracker, self serve add network do you recommend? Also anything else that you can recommend? I will jump directly in action so your advice is very valuable.

Thanks

Hey mate all these questions have been answered a million times already. I'd recommend you looking at some of the mobile follow along campaigns.

Tracking options: STM mobile tracker, propser202, volumm, any of those work and they are free.

Self serve: Decisive ads, Sitescout, Buzzcity are all good.

Offers: Start with low payout apps. This way you can get more data for less spend.

We will be releasing our huge mobile guide in the next week or two, which should help you along the way. Until then, read up the mobile section. There is literally EVERYTHING you need to know about making money on mobile.

That's a VERY tight budget to start with mobile. To be honest, it's a tight budget for any vertical.

You could probably get somewhere on mobile with it by targeting very niche and, as Mr Green says, using very low payout apps, but I'd recommend seriously niche campaigns on POF as a starting point on a sub-$750 budget - look for some of Maynzie's recent posts on ultra-niche POF campaigns.

Hello Caurmen

Thank you. Is 1k ok to invest on mobile? Also is a4d good for mobile offers? I really want to start the learning with mobile because i heard that mobile marketing is different from pc marketing and i want to concentrate the budget to 1 thing. I also got approved to decisive ads.

$1k is tough in any case because of network payment terms - with only $1k you have to expect that you will get paid several weeks after the end of a month - most networks will pay you weekly, e.g. on a Thursday for all the revenue from the previous mon-sun, but only when you are pushing at least $1k revenue weekly.

So... you'd have to be running a very profitable campaign from the beginning to ever get cashflow going.

However, if you're fine with spending ~$200 a week to learn and don't care when you get paid you will be much happier!

You can certainly test the mobile waters but don't expect to get much of the $1k back very quickly - there are a lot of variables to test and in mobile it is quite easy to burn through cash quickly.

Thank you Zeno

Do you think that is better that i leave mobile for now and start with Pof?

@zakariya - $1k will be tough for mobile, but if you stick to low-payout offers and target very carefully, you could get to profit - or at least get a lot of learning that will help when you secure additional funds.

As Zeno says, though, be prepared for some interesting times with cashflow initially. You may have to pause and restart a few times.
