Trying to launch first FB campaign... (21)

Trying to launch first FB campaign...

I am trying to launch my first campaign on FB. Tried submitting the ads last night and got disapproved - The destination URL of your ad either violates Facebook's Advertising Guidelines or could not be reviewed. Before resubmitting it, please visit our Help Center for additional information and examples compliant with our Advertising Guidelines.

I just tried again this morning and the same thing. The URL is my CPV Lab tracking URL and it works fine. I can't figure out why they won't approve my ads. Am I missing something here? I'm guessing its because the reviewers are in a different country?

What are you trying to promote?

A widely known dating offer. That's what has me puzzled!

I've had this a lot today. About 150 ads disapproved.

I also use CPV Lab. What I've done in the past is create a direct link to the website URL (not your affiliate link), and then once the campaign is approved, switch your links (to your aff one) in CPV Lab.

At least that's what worked for me in the past, but today I'm just getting continual disapprovals even though I'm directing to the website.

I'm wondering if doing a Double Meta Refresh in CPV Lab might be causing problems?

update 2 minutes later: I was using the FB Ad Uploader, submitting around 40-50 ads at a time. So, I just tried creating a campaign manually with only 2 ads, and lo and behold, just got an 'approved' email for one of them. Will wait and see if the other gets approved and then drip feed some other ads in.

I have been submitted mine manually. US for me as well. I'll try putting a direct link to website and see what happens.

Just make sure you put the direct link in your CPV Lab set up so you can switch it after approval. Don't hard code it into the ad, or you'll have to get it reapproved when you change it. Sorry if that's obvious.

You're geuss is probably correct unless its a vertical they dont allow.

Time to bait and switch. Use regular domain in your CPVLabs. Submit ads keep the camp on pause. Once approved swap the links in prosper to the aff links.

Just denied 30 ads again. Does FB not allow True.com?

Is it even worth e-mailing and asking what the deal is? I think I've read before that FB never replies?

I've gotten them to reverse their disapprovals multiple times just by writing to them saying that I thought they made a mistake. Give it a try.

Unfortunately, I deleted the 30 ads I created and just created 1 new one to test before spending my time creating another 30. Unless there is a quicker way to resubmit them that I'm missing. I'll give it a try and see if they'll reverse the one or give me some sort of explanation.

I wish to email to them "You're fired", anyone of us should work in the ad approval team or maybe someone should join this forum....

Did you just reply to the 'Disapproved' email you received or do you have an acct rep? (not asking you to out your email contact)
I'm just wondering because the affiliates@FB email has been dead for a while & i don't have an acct manager there, but recently i contacted MSN adCenter about a disapproval for an ad i submitted & I received an AMAZINGLY helpful response from a rep there. I'm not used to good customer service from ad platforms :/

It appears that Facebook doesn't like True.com? Changed out offer and submitted again with most of them being approved.

there was a bit in the email a bout the WOT...I looked true.com up on WOT and it has a poor reputation. That may be why it's denied.

I'm running into the same problems as chase. Earlier today, I tried True then SpeedDate, thinking they'd approve the latter as I see it all the time on FB. Both were disapproved. At the same time, I've been throwing in ads for my mom's real estate site just for the sake of approvals.

Just a few minutes ago, I even tried SpeedDate ads without the tracking URL just to see if it'd go through. We'll see what happens. I guess I'll have to try something else within Facebook then.

Btw, these were all direct linked. I'll test tomorrow what happens if I use a lander.

Edit:: Regarding True, read what Steezy said above along with polarbacon's thread on WOT. Just dunno what's the deal with SpeedDate...
