Narrow targeting vs increase bid

Hello guys,

First of all I would like to thank everyone for helping me to set up my first campaign.

I've already let my banner ads to run for half a day but the results are not very impressive for $15 per day budget. I'm not getting enough impressions due to narrow targeting. Currently I'm targeting my campaign based on states in US. Should I increase my bid or widen my targeting to the whole country?

Traffic source = PoF?

I would widen targeting. Unless you have a specific angle or reason for hitting separate states? If not, you could just pass state in the ad URL and later see if specific states are doing better/worse.

Yes. My traffic source is POF. And there are 2 more questions that I would like to ask.

1.When I test my link in CPV Lab, my landing page appears but when I click the click to action button, a blank page with the words "No click" appears. Is this normal?

2. Is $2.75 amount of payout considered to be a decent offer?

Thanks.

1) Are you using the same campaign link you use in POF to test your lander? You need to use the actual campaign link to test your lander - otherwise, CPVLab will get confused and report "no click" as you're seeing.

2) Payout isn't a good guide to an offer at all. See http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...e-Often-Better . Has this offer been recommended to you by your AM? Have you seen other people running it via the Spy Tool?

Hope that helps!

1. When I test link using CPV Lab, the click to action on my landing page redirects me to a blank page with the words "No click". But if I manually test the campaign URL, the click to action button redirects me to the offer page. Is there something wrong here?

2. Thanks for the link, I think I've read that before but could not recall it. My bad.
