Facebook Cloaking - Will pay for advice (13)
Hi Guys,
This is my first post. Looks like a great site you have here.
Anyway, just a bit of background about my situation. We are on the "advertiser" side and sell our products (skin/diet, etc) in Australia and New Zealand. We've worked with some of the big networks and had some good success last year. This year however sales are slow. We are in the "straight sale" space and when I was at the affiliate summit in Vegas in January everyone was saying "Free Trial", "Free Trial". The payouts for free trial (when dealing direct with networks) are a bit too high, which makes everything a touch too risky, and for now we want to stick with our straight sale model. Anyway, as the networks don't want to run straight sale, we are missing out on the facebook traffic we were getting last year.
So we want to learn how to cloak in-house so we can start to get some straight sale traffic back. I have limited knowledge with cloaking --- and am hoping someone can teach me how to do this effectively (for a fee of course). I know very little about cloakers and which cloaker to use, or how to use them. I know people sell facebook agency accounts, but I don't know who to trust, or who to buy from. I have no real idea how to keep getting credit cards when your facebook accounts keep on getting banned, etc as they presumably will. I'm sure there are other things I don't know also.
So really I am hoping someone will be able to spend a few hours with me going over what needs to be done so we can start to cloak.

The reason everyone cloaks with trials for skin/diet is because they run super sketchy landers and also some networks just wont touch negative option billing with diet/skin.

We tried running straight sale a while back (prob 18 months ago) on FB but they kept kicking us off - they just kept telling us they don't allow diet offers. Maybe things have changed now, however I was under the impression that FB got more strict since the time we had done it, and thus the reason for cloaking.
Our plan for now was to look at running the 2 step (diet + colon) as a cloaked ad...HOWEVER I will try and see if we can sell on FB legitimately without having to cloak. If we can run direct to our product page we'll give that a shot.

Have you tried creating a sales funnel? Create a product that is compliant on Facebook where you collect leads and give away 'free' guide etc.
