.gif with the finder

Does anybody now how to create banners that when you move the cursor of your mouse the aim moves along within the banner? like the banner game "kill the cockroach" that example you have the sandal as finder. i think if i can create one of those the CTR would be much higher.

Thank you in advance.

ps: i do mobile marketing only.

These aren't gif banners.

These are made with flash (so are swf files) or are HTML5 (combination of html + javascript) banners, which only some traffic sources allow. Most allow swf. Generally I would say that people hire flash developers to make these for them or buy templates from places like Active Den and edit them.

so should i forget about it?...or is it even possible to make a simple flash page as a lander for mobile?

As a lander? Or a banner? I wouldn't bother with it, getting that kind of interactivity is going to take a lot of time and effort if you are not already familiar with coding/flash/actionscript.

You could certainly create one of these as an HTML5 lander. Depending on the demographic, it'd probably work very well on most phones.

It's not a hugely complex bit of coding if you stick to Javascript: here's a JSFiddle demonstrating the effect. However, probably not worth learning Javascript just for that - but if you already know the basics, it might be worth experimenting with.
