Whats happening? Ghost clicks - 0 imps with multiple clicks

Hey everybody,

So I've been experiencing some weird things lately.
I tried searching, but don't know enough to know what the phenomenon is called.

I'm running on Sitescout and some domains send over clicks while having 0 impressions.
Whats happening? Is there a term for this so I can learn more about it?

Is there anyway to filter these out? They end up skewing my analysis pretty bad.
One domain in particular sent 5 "clicks" with 0 impressions.

Thanks in advance!

They will be real clicks that have come through but are from bots or users considered fraudulent by SiteScout, so they don't charge you for the impressions and don't show them in the stats. However, since the click happened, the tracking system will pick them up.

It shouldn't pose too much of an issue though since most optimisation is revenue from placement vs spend at traffic source, and bot clicks don't influence this.

If you're optimising based on lander CTR just look at outgoing clicks vs placement clicks in SS and see if you're tracking system will let you filter out bots or clicks by IPs.
