Business question!

Hey everyone

One thing I always wondered about this game is whether you guys declare your earnings? Are any of you incorporated as businesses and are your affiliate earnings taxed? Just curious.

I believe you only need to worry about this once you start making some money, for now don't worry instead focus on getting campaigns going, testing, etc.

100% report everything. I know there's a lot of int'l guys that aren't in as tough of tax jurisdictions as the US. But being here I do everything by the book.

You can always, hide your money using Corporate tricks.

Yep, absolutely agree that I need to just get the wheels in motion first. Just wanted to add the whole tax thing to the list of things I'll need to consider at some point....hopefully!

Talk to an accountant.

The longer you wait the more risk, and the more money you will probably end up paying in taxes (due to you not having a tax "strategy" in place).

Talk to an accountant, in depth, as soon as possible.

DO NOT try to "hide" your earnings: that puts you in a direct battle with your country's tax agency.

The IRS, for example, has an annual budget of $11m - in any fight between you and them, you'll lose.

Tax is a heinously complex subject and it's vital to get expert professional advice.
