Since I broke my hand and am not allowed to work construction (my day job) - I'm working all day and night creating, testing, and optimizing campaigns.
I'm starting to realize that organization must be pretty damn important in this industry.
How do you guys track your daily spending, campaign budget, and ROI's across all of your different campaigns?
I was thinking about creating a simple Excel file that tracks everything.
I think it's time I create a little infrastructure with this business
I am terrible with this. As long as my bank account is larger each financial year I am happy.
I don't have a clue how much I make weekly overall. I know how much profit I make per day from campaigns, but I don't pay attention to servers, freelance payments, membership accounts etc.
Thanks for the reply man. Yeah, I don't think I should over-complicate it. For now, I'm just going to use a simply Excel file
Haha I don't think I am a good example in this area. I'm sure others have got it down to a fine art.
We use LinkTrust as the platform to track all of our 'products' and 'sales' then I had a custom database built out that pulls the LT API and automatically downloads ad network cost data to create kick ass reporting. Reporting that used to take a couple hours a day is now 10 minutes. It also keeps up with credit card debits and credits, internal campaign management, ad test spend budgets, domains, servers, proxies, addresses. NO MAS EXCEL and more time testing!
That sounds pretty extensive man, thanks for the info
I'll look into something like that once my Excel plan starts taking up large amounts of time.
I use an excel spreadsheet like:

That's a great template man! It will save me some time for figuring out how to organize the spreadsheets.
Thanks a lot
I use StatsRemote to track overall profit.
For campaigns I use P202 and my mod to upload costs.
It gives me pretty accurate numbers.
Since I usually only have a few campaigns running at a time, generally I do it manually...I make a google spreadsheet doc with daily stats for each campaign so I can track everything and watch ROI/conversions over time. Each morning the first thing I do is update yesterday's data. I'm sure this process could be automated but I'm not a programmer...
Statsremote is great , i have it running since 08 and don't plan on ditching it, in a way id be lost without it
+1 for Statsremote for general tracking of expenses.
