How To Re-Size Images

Hi everybody,

I am using Photoshop to design banners, but whenever I find a good image or a good video it almost every time can't fit my banner size format.

So let's say for example I want to design a 350 x 300 banner.

When I find a nice video and I insert it into my Photoshop file and re-size it to lets say height 300 (the width is AUTOMATICALLY re-sized to a number that it doesn't fit the my banner size anymore)

How can I deal with this? It takes now ages to design banners, because of this!

Hope theres a easier solution to this!

Can anyone help me out?

If you don't want the image to look messed up, like streched, you need to Crop the image with the right ratio than resize.

Think about that, if you want to resize a picture with a face which has original size 200x200 and you want to make it 100x50, without cropping the face will look so streched up that you can't understand what's there.

And a tool that helps you deal will banner crop/resize:
