So I've been reading clubdrock's success story and this quote caught my eye:
"1) Make banners and landers 2) Test banners and landers. Once you hit that high CTR banner, combine it with the right lander its money in the bank."
I'm really working hard at creating systems in which I can churn out as much new material for testing as possible, and I think landing pages is my biggest weakness here. It seems in adult, there are two different types of landers which everyone uses, either the quiz style lander, or the confirm your age style lander which brings up the rules after you confirm your age.
When testing landers, is the typical approach that people use just to take those two "formats" and recreate them in as many different styles, colours, layouts etc. as possible until one sticks? I see the value in testing other approaches too (simple rules landers etc.) but I imagine most affiliates test lots more of the popular type?
There's great value in innovation, try be creative and come up with your own concepts, go wild and test completely different things.
Have you watched the STM BKK speeches? Pay particular attention to Caurmen's one & the part about local maximum.
