Hi guys,
I'm about to start my first campaign using CPV Lab. Just need some clarification.
1. Upload landing pages as .php to my domain
2. Add affiliate network
3. Create general campaign setups
4. Add landing pages and offers (The URL as in Step 1)
5. Modify landing pages
6. Upload landing pages as .php again (To the same directory as in Step 1) Do I have to overwrite files or just put it in the same directory?
7. Copy link to traffic sources
Am I in the right track?
Yes. With point 6 you definitely want to overwrite if you have made critical changes to the landing page code, i.e. added in tracking-related code or links, otherwise none of the changes will be live on your server.
8. Test campaign link to make sure it redirects to LP as expected and then to the affiliate link/offer as expected when you click out.
Got stucked again...
1. In this tutorial http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...Campaign-Setup there is a picture which says "Get the URL from the STM Offer URL Guide". What does it mean?

2. Besides that, how do I split test between 1 direct link & 2 landing pages?

I tried filling in both 33 for the 2 landing pages field and 34 for the direct link field but it says the total must be 100%...
3. Also, how should I place SubIDs if my traffic source is from POF? I'm on Peerfly network.
Assuming that my affiliate link is http://trkur.com/trk?o=8429, should I add my SubID as follows?
http://trkur.com/trk?o=8429&s1=banner
If I would like to add my campaign name to the SubID is it supposed to appear like this?
http://trkur.com/trk?o=8429&s1=campaignname&s2=banner
4. And lastly, should I assign the SubID to my affiliate link before placing it into my landing pages?
1. "Get the URL from the STM offer guide" means that you should refer to this guide: http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...-Or-Prosper202
2. That's weird. I'm pretty sure that's how I've set up rotations on CPVLab before, although that may just be me misremembering. Anyone?
3. That's correct. When you use that URL in POF, you should change "banner" to be the name you've chosen for each banner - "banner1", "banner2", etc, or "asianchickredborder", whatever will help you remember what banner it is.
4. You should be entering your affiliate link in CPVLab, not on your landing pages. Your landing page link should be the URL you get under "Step 3: Modify Landing Pages" in the tutorial.
Hope that helps! If you need any more detail on any of those points, ask and I shall provide!

2. Yes!
3. Yes!
Regarding LP/Direct split, I think at the top you need to select Split rather than Direct or Landing Page. In your previous post you were setting the traffic to split between LPs only, the offer part was just what offer the LPs go to afterward (so the LPs would have to add to 100 and the offers would also have to add to 100).

Yep, spot-on with the URLs. That's exactly what you do.
You don't need to tick either of the boxes in your second image.
You're ready to roll!
More newbie questions...
I've tested the link and it's working but a webpage related to cloacking appears... What do I need to do with it?

Besides that, I've uploaded 19 310x110 banner ads using Mr Green's POF Uploader but it does not appear under my creatives column. Where can I find the creatives that I've uploaded?

Is the offer that you're pushing targeted to a different country than the one you're in? If so, you'll need to use a proxy for that country to check your link, as your ad network may be redirecting clicks from countries your offer doesn't cover.
I answered your question about creatives in your other post, btw - I'm afraid it looks like the upload didn't happen correctly.
