Starting Mobile This Week and Need Help!

Hey All,

I've been running facebook ads for a few months now, and with facebook becoming a lot harder to work with, I figured I should focus more on mobile than facebook. (I'll still run facebook ads) I have a few questions for you mobile experts, as I know the traffic source is harder than facebook and adwords.

First, who do you suggest I go with for mobile traffic source? Are they all the same? My affiliate manager suggested 'Airpush'.

Second, any niches that I should start out with? Apps? Games?

Third, I've seen a php script for this, but can't find it right now. Would anyone be kind to share the php scrip that will auto resize the landing page depending on the mobile device, and carrier?

Thank you, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, if any mobile or facebook guys want to add me on skype, please do victor.zdor

Hi Victor,

We are on the same boat. I am just started with mobile and will start traffic around this week now preparing server learn tracker and apply to network.
Yes I agree mobile is more complex but opportunity is much more tempted.

I can't give you suggestion because I also new to this mobile arena however here is what I do.

Traffic source: I will start with decisive and adiquity with budget $500-$1000 each. Hope it is enough to get data for finding profitable campaign.
Niches: app install will be my first choice, but my AM recommend lead submission so maybe I will try them both.
Landing page: This thread will may help you

I believe Airpush has had some problems with the new changes to Google's terms and conditions, and isn't so good as a source any more. I haven't used them, though, so it may be worth confirming that with people who have.

Decisive is a very good platform for mobile, although there are a LOT of mobile options out there. See http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...ho-would-it-be for a discussion last year of other options, or http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...le-Ad-Networks for a list of mobile ad networks that can only be described as "humungous".

1. There are SO many mobile traffic sources all with different types of traffic, banner traffic, pops, push ads, video etc.. It's quite overwhelming to be honest. I would give Aquinty, Airpush and Inmobi a try to start. All have MASSIVE volume, but all are quite popular too.

2. I would start with app installs or mobile PIN submits

For Aquinty, I can't find in google. Are you referring to this?

http://www.adiquity.com

Is that newbie friendly and has volume for international traffic?

Thanks.
