How many clicks do you allow to say that campaign does not work?

Hello everybody,

Sorry if my question is too newbie. But this is a place for such question, is not it ?

I started to test banners this week for dating online services. I am using direct linking so far.

During my tests I got overall more then 100 clicks. Now I selected best banners and plan to gather 200-400 clicks more,
Next step I plan to gather 300-500 click using landing page.

So on total I plan to get 500-1000 using my marketing plan.

Unfortunately I do not have a single conversion so far.

So my question is: how many clicks do you allow till you decide than everything goes way too wrong?

This depends on traffic source.
Your cost of conversion.
Your testing budget.

Well you see as I understand I need to optimize my campaigns.

And it is possible to optimize once I have 3 conversions to get 5 or 10

But when I have 0 so it is not clear. Maybe I need another offer.
How long do you wait before deciding to change offer ?

If I am testing 5 angles, 5 banners per angle, and offer payout is $1 and running ron
I am going to spend $10 per banner (offer payout x10) - so thats $50 per angle, and $250 for 5 angles, total 25 each.

sorry, it seems like I missed one term.

what do you mean by "angle" ? landing page or offer ?

angles are your overall marketing pitch or "spin" in a campaign. so that includes both banners and landing pages.
