Okay another one.
Me and another individual is looking to open a business (physical building) in a foreign country. Are their anyone on here who have done this and have any advice. At this point it looks like it just might be me, the other is dragging his foot to much. How is it to open a business in a foreign country. Hunting down real estate, hiring contractors, designers. How do you get funding for all that? Do you hire local people for that. Personally for the country this will be in i would prefer to bring in outside help (neighboring country). I have family in the country and they work at a local bank so i can use them to look for land and so forth. I am just looking for stories from those who walked down this same path.
I know i am a busy body. I have always been a person who doesn't sit with the status quo. At my age I worked hard to get a job/salary that most people my age only hope for. That's is why i have no friends. I can't deal with talking to people my generation. They weight me down. For some reason i have always connected with older people since they seem to by that age have a solid head on their shoulder. I wasn't born in the US i came from a third world country, so i know the value of hard work. Single mother raised me and my sister and at a young age i knew i wanted to make a name for me and give her back 1000x for what she did.
Gave her 1000x for what she did.
You can't repay your mom. Never, you can't even estimate if it was 1000x of what she did for you.
So you know your limitations. You can JV with someone who got all these skills. I am afraid but you need to trust people.
Developing social skills is also hardwork. No one is bord with it. Some people pickup these skills faster than others but its same with other things in life.
1 Short answer -> JV with someone.
2 Alternative -> Do it all on your own and waste signifcant amount of time. Not really waste. But it will take much of your time.
