And in Step 4 (creating banners), are you supposed to create the entire banner in photoshop or photo editing tool? Or do the banners get automatically created themselves when using POF?
What I'm asking is - do I really need to create a new banner and edit the copy for each image I have and manually swap out the text in photoshop every time?
For most banners, yes, you need to manually change ad text/content for each one.
However on PoF some of the banners are more like Facebook sidebar ads in that you have an image + some text that you set at PoF when making the ad itself. The ad is then displayed as an image + normal text, rather than entirely as an image.
If the traffic source asks you for an ad headline and body copy then it is undoubtedly this style of ad, i.e. image + manually set text.
You dont need to use photoshop, you can use MS Paint as well! I actually have had some of my most successful banners created in MS Paint!
I have a question regarding banner ads too... Is it possible to have multiple banner ads in 1 single campaign? I've tried to add more than 1 banner ad in a single campaign but the previous banner ad dissapear every time I've uploaded a new one... Am I getting this wrong?
Also, where do we get the click thru URL?
