Can't Get Traffic No Matter Bid or Budget

Account daily spend limit is $5000

2 Million Demo

Using CPC bid style (ocpm fucked me too many times)

Three cloned campaigns

Campaigns have $1000 budget per ad group

I started the day out with $0.25 bids and was getting $0.11 clicks

I quickly got 1000 clicks per hour for the first two hours of the day. Basically high volume dirt cheap traffic.

And then only 200 per hour for the next 7 hours.

I tried changing my bid to $0.30, then $0.35, then $0.45! I even increased my ad group budget from $1000 to $1500.

Now I'm only getting 100 clicks per hour... despite raising my bid 100% and increasing my budget by 50%.

Changing my bid seems to raise CPCs but not levels of traffic.

Both my account spend limit, and budgets are way higher than the actual amount being spent.

What's going on? Why can't I get more traffic no matter what I bid?

No, your account being reviewed. Since, you triggered something in their system. This happened to me as well. From my experience with tons of accounts. You can't do anything with that. Just try to do quality low spend traffic and slowy slowly increase traffic.

Sometimes i put $9 bid on ad and budget of $9,000 to test if account being throttled. If its being trottled, i keep doing good quality ads.

To pyring FB rep reading my post : Fuck you! I have better contacts buddy. Take your salary and deliver account. Hooker or Money ? Choose one coz i will have other one.

I also noticed that my ads are no longer auto approving, so I'm assume that yes, I am under review

However traffic still trickles in at 100 clicks an hour consistent

They sandbox accounts now to reduce damage. Only trustworthy accounts have massive reach now. Their responsibilites have increased now.

Your account being reviewed doesn't mean that it will definately get banned. They might increase your ad account reach back to normal.

Their account sandboxing is interesting and a good solution. But for us its -% ROI lol

But why Facebook doing these massive changes?

They changing Ad review / approval process/ newsfeed spam removal / ad unit size change. Why ?

Well, you do keep mentioning that you are slipping adult dating ads through and banking well on it so there's some pretty obvious reasons there.
