Using Facebook Conversion pixel in imobi Trax
Hey Guys,
Sorry if this has already been covered, but I couldn't find anything after searching.
For some reason I can't get the FB conversion pixel to work using imobi trax.
To be clear, I want to see the conversions showing up in FB.
I placed this " <img height="1" width="1" alt="" style="display:none" src="https://www.facebook.com/offsite_event.php?id=54556345***&value=0¤cy=USD" /></noscript>"
Under image/3rd party browser pixels.
Tried 3 separate campaigns now, and they work fine if I try Direct linked.
Any idea why It wouldn't be working?

So do you have an iMobiTrax pixel placed at the affiliate network so that this image pixel is loaded by users/clients? (rather than any sort of postback URL)
The simplest solution would be to just place the pixel independently of iMobiTrax, since loading it via iMobiTrax has no particular advantage.

Hmm, that'd usually be a fine solution, but the network I'm running this offer through is babytown frolics and I can't place a second pixel.

So are you able to place any kind of pixel on the offer or just a postback? If you can place anything then you can just lump all of the code together. If it is just a postback URL then you're a bit screwed - since there is no way to get the client to load anything if there is only some server-2-server communication going on.

Facebook Conversion Pixel won't work with imobitrax.
Imobitrax pixel is cookie less and Facebook pixel need cookies for tracking. There are workarounds but it won't work directly.
Facebook pixel doesn't work with Cake too.

The Facebook pixel works fine with Cake. The contents of the pixel html code box get placed on the offer conversion page so any normal html/JS pixel should work fine.

Did you try it personally? It doesn't work me. Just saying. I know how pixel works.

Yes, I can confirm Facebook pixel conversions fired via Cake in the last 10 minutes, on my own campaign. If it doesn't work it could be that the offer is causing issues (e.g. they support S2S tracking only so the Cake pixel doesn't actually get placed).

Thanks, didn't knew that. I will confirm with network.

Thanks, they said I place both lumped together, I know that works on cake and they're moving to that soon, so I'll just have to tough it out.

Thanks for the info, I'll stop trying to get it to work imobi - I use FB pixel in cake everyday, just go into the tracking section box and dump the whole thing in there. If I dump it and the imobi pixel it works fine, I just had a network that used an awful tracking platform and I couldn't do both at the network. They're moving to cake so I guess I'll have to wait.
