I need to outsource music downloading.. how?

I've got:
- a list of 100+ song names
- and a few youtube channels
where i want every song on the channel found in mp3 formatted (or converted from .flv if its worse case scenario)

Any specific sites to find people who would be good at this?

I wrote a script to do this exact thing years back. (for this guy)
Outdated now, but shoot me a PM with the details I'll see if I can get it working again (if I can find it)

Got a load of channels I want to clone again too!

Couldn't find the old one I wrote so just fired up a new one, took a bit longer than expected!

STMtube: http://jsbin.com/yetecaja

Steps:
#1: Enter a list of keywords (one per line)
#2: Submit and watch all the MP3s fall into your collection

Expect some errors but saves a lot of time! Enjoy

P.S. To work for you, you'd want to have the keywords like "channelname - songname" (easy via excel if you already have the list)

WTFFF DUDE! This works beyond well. Thanks a lot.

How does it work?

Glad to hear it man!

No worries, been meaning to code something like this for a while. Spotify hasn't got half the mixes I listen too!

It works by getting the first YouTube result for each keyword, then downloads/converts.
Took a bit of trial and error to get working (random bugs popping up) but got there in the end!

What's the list of 100 songs? Hope it was worth all this blood & sweat haha

Dude I just tried it out for myself, that SHIT IS RIDICULOUS.

I'm just putting in song name and artist and it's download within a couple of seconds.

Bookmarked it.

Good stuff Lorenzo, cheers for the kind words!

I downloaded MP3s for a channel with 250 videos in about 10minutes, surprised how well it works too.
Found a little loophole in the system that allows me to do it, so if patched at some point it will stop working.

Incase it isn't clear for anyone using, you can get a plaintext list of all channel videos / search results via this page:
http://50.7.212.90/~user328d/STMtube/list.php

(plaintext list ready for input in the keyword box)
