VPS for landers?

Hey guys,

If i go with like a hosted tracking platform like Voluum do I need a VPS for my sites and landing pages or is a shared hosting account sufficient since wont be running tracking software on it?

Am I wrong to think shared would be ok until pushing a LOT of traffic to it?

Thanks!

Get yourself a decent VPS. Look around the forum.

I think Beyond Hosting has a nice starter package that won't break the bizzank. Use the coupon code.

50% off the FIRST 6 MONTHS of our STARTER VPS hosting package!

Coupon Code: STACKTHATMONEY

You want that shit to load fast.

I also use Voluum for tracking and I have a decent VPS and then have all the static elements called from a CDN.

You're now in the world of IM, therefore you never touch traditional hosting ever again. Ever.

If using e.g. Voluum you can host the entire page on a CDN if it is HTML/JS only, but if PHP code is utilised then you will want it on a VPS. The BH Starter VPS is a very good deal.
