I'm just starting out in AM and like a lot of other successful people say, you need to be okay with spending/losing money in the beginning since you're paying for data.
I'm okay with this, but how much money should you really expect to lose in the beginning. I mean, while I'm ready to spend some money, I don't want to lose EVERYTHING I have.
I'm ready to put aside about $1000-1500 per month to spend on my campaigns and I'm focusing on POF. Is this enough?
How much did you guys spend in the beginning before you saw big profit?
I always suggest to start with about $1,000 - $3,000 in capital. To me this is the perfect formula in spending to really see the potential in a campaign. Spend ~$50/day across a month, and ramp even quicker when you see profitability.
I lost about 10K over the course of like 6 months before I started to turn a profit. I did a lot of dumb things in the beginning though, like bounce around to a every offer and every traffic source. Once I just focused on one traffic source things started to turn around. If you focus on POF with your budget I think you will do well.
There's no such thing as "losing money". You have to "pay" to learn what you need to learn.
One thing I can tell you for sure is that if you have a fear of losing money then it will cloud every decision you make.
Don't tell yourself "I have a $1000 to make it work". Your attitude needs to be one of you WILL make it work no matter what.
