I see that most of the conversation in terms of offers to send paid traffic to revolve around affiliate networks like neverblue, F5, convert2media, etc
What are your thoughts on sending paid traffic to offers on sites like CJ.com or shareasale etc?

If you can send traffic apt for purchasing things then go for it. Unlike most affiliate offers you may have a virtually non-existant budget cap on product sale comission/rev share offers so can scale readily.
Obviously you will need a decent testing budget.
CJ for instance has some giants in terms of offers.
I'd take a profitable retail CPS campaign over a CPL campaign any day.
