Does ipad & Android tables clicks& conversions comes under Mobile traffic?? Can I run a normal dating offers in POF targeting Android & ipad tablets? Else Should I restrict myself with browsers like chrome, mozilla ?? Can someone please clarify....
Yes iPad and Android tablets = mobile. Anything that is a tablet = mobile. If your offer doesn't prohibit mobile (ask AM!) then you can allow mobile traffic in your PoF campaign, just use a tracking system that lets you see how well the mobile traffic works. Sometimes people on iPads will click/convert more. If they don't, you can at least turn this targeting off and get rid of them.
Some people will say always turn it off, others on, just test it for yourself ;D
I've had really mixed results with including mobile traffic. Sometimes it seems to kill sometimes it doesn't.
That said currently I don't have to worry about it. The offer I'm working with doesn't want mobile traffic but they explain that as just phones. Tablets are okay. I think it has something to do with the sites not being mobile optimized but I'm not sure why they would care where the traffic came from so long as it was decent.
Generally mobile traffic can convert better than web traffic, just make sure the advertiser is fine with it.
I did the mistake once and got booted from the offer.
