Hi,
I've noticed some seriously weird goings on in the Spy View on my Prosper install.
In the screenshot below you'll see in the Offer / LP "Mom Income Connecti". I do not have any offers with this name.
In the referrer column, plentyoffish.com. I am not (and never have) marketed on PoF.
In the keyword column, keywords I have never used.
The landing page and outbound link both contain domain names I do not own.

The strangest thing about this is that after I did this screen dump, every one of the subid's in it, apart from 2300, changed live on the screen to something that I would expect to see. But shortly afterwards, after I refreshed the spy view, they went back again to what you see here.
Can anyone explain what the hell is happening?
Someone probably stole your landing page and is sending traffic to it... they probably kept the tracking script on the landing page or something which is why that stuff is showing up... i wouldnt worry to much about it, but i would try and find out if the guy is making any money and try to copy him or maybe get his money ehhhee
Well, the lander and the offer it links too are in the work from home niche, targeting an Australian offer. My lander is for a completely different niche and the offer is a US one
probably stole maybe your javascript or pop up or whatever else you had and kept your tracking link on accident?? dont know but i would definitely keep an eye on it for your own sake.. hehe
I paused my campaign, and no new clicks on the Spy View, so I think something else is going on. I then did a WHOIS lookup on the other tracking domain and it's on the same web host as mine. Could this be where the problem lies?
It was a problem at my host, here's what they had to say: -
"It's actually a permissions issue with memcached. When another prosper stores data in memcached it will show up in yours. We just disabled memcached on all of our hybrid servers until we can create a workaround for the problem. You should no longer see data from other prospers. Sorry."
Very prompt reply, sorted in under 20 minutes.
what hosting company are you with!? muahah
