I think I'm really stuck. I've been testing landing pages and ads for a while now but I just can't break even! I don't even target a positive ROI first. All I want is 0% ROI. I've tested two offers already with one landing page and picked the better offer out. And while testing I cut the bad ads out as well (following the STM tutorial). Now recently I split tested three landing pages with a completely different design and angle and picked the winner out (Each LP had like 700 clicks). Now for 4 days I received only two conversions overall! Sometimes I have the feeling like those CPA Networks are kidding me. At one day I have 4 conversions and the next 4 days suddenly 0. So far I've lost $1054 and the data that I got isn't reliable, although they are statistically significant!
So my problem is: Every time I believe that the amount of conversions daily is stable, it isn't. One day 4 conversions, one day 2 conversions and then 2 days zero conversions in a row and the next day suddenly one conversion. And I don't think that my campaign is only profitable or "break evenable" on specific days as I've tested it already and it's completely different. I was on Monday one month ago even in profitable ROI but the Mondays after that sucked.
Hopefully I can get any advice. I'm split testing three Headlines now for a week again...

In my opinion 4 leads a day isnt statistically significant, it could be luck/bad luck. I guess the offer you are testing is a high paying offer so you will need more money to test. Depending on the payout, $1k might not be enough to make a decision .

Maybe 4 conversoina daily aren't st. signif. but in many days I receive no conversions. And that's what is strange. I'm letting the landing pages running for a long time though until I take action. Like 700 visitors.
Are you split testing the offer across multiple networks? Are you split testing other similar offers?
You may just be stuck with an offer that simply isn't converting well.
What sort of ad and landing page stats are you seeing? What are your total spend/revenue numbers?
start with low paying 2-5cpa offers.... If youve spent 1k and only gotten 4 conversions something is very wrong unless the offer is 17usd+.....
Phlong, move on from the campaign. It is likely that your ads, angle, traffic source, offer and/or any combination therein are simply not profitable.
95% of what you do is likely to fail in terms of profitability.
Learn to let things go instead of sinking more and more money into a sinking ship. It is quite clear simply from your apparent desperation that this campaign is both mentally, fiscally and motivationally consuming!
If you are really attached to the campaign or can see potential, just add it to a list of 'things to revisit' and come back to it later when you have more experience, motivation and budget.
I'll give this one a last try. I changed the offer and so far the change looks positive. I actually got 4 conversions per day in a row. Let's see how it develops...
