hi people,
i will test ocpm first time for a facebook campaign. And i am looking to do manual cpa bids with ocpm.
I will bid per action manually with ocpm. So lets hope fb will optimize once the conversions coming in. However am not sure if anybody tested this yet. I mean that is a new campaign with a very big target (8-9 million). Being a new campaign, they dont have any conversion data yet. So i am not sure if that campaign will even start. Shall i start with default ocpm and after the conversions come, i switch to manual ocpm cpa bid ? Or will that campaign work out of the box ? (At least start)
You need at least 1m people in the demo for oCPM to be effective (check). If you switch bid types your ad will be reviewed again (this is such a stupid limitation in their system) and loses its history. After 45 conversions or so, FB will know what to do and your ROI will increase (CPC may go up, but the audience will be greater ROI).
