How to re-run ads for a WH fanpage?

Hey there,

I used to run some WH aff stuff on my FB account.
They retroed all the ads on a couple campaigns and I left FB alone for the past month or so except 2 ads running to a completely WH fanpage for a startup project of mine.

I made a new ad for the fanpage today and my account got banned as soon as I uploaded the ad.

I sent in an appeal with my DL, but if that doesn't work, how do I go about running ads to my fanpage again?
Make someone else an admin and run ads on their account?

Thanks!

How exactly did an advert to a white-hat fan page get you banned?

Facebook wouldn't do this without a reason. Did you have other ads, even paused, that were sketchy?

Did you log in from a compromising location and or IP?

1) Yea, I should have deleted the ads but there was ads that were paused that were originally all approved, then retroed.

2) Never had an account banned before

I'm thinking I can get the account back through the appeal process, but I have never heard good things about it, so I wanted to go ahead and have a backup plan.

Thanks!

It's wise to make someone else an admin on a page as a backup should the main account go down. Either a secondary account (or several!) or a very trusted friend. Preferably someone who gives you account access but knows nothing about Facebook or the internet heh.

Don't expect much from the appeal but do explain that you have a fanpage for your business startup, are not sure why your advertising account go banned but don't want to lose your social media presence on FB, etc.

Hey zeno,

Thanks! I added a few people as an admin a month or so ago in case something happened.

I have my wife as an admin, but she logs in from the same IP as me.

If I clear everything and get a new IP and just run fanpage ads with her account, should that be OK?

Thanks!

Probably. If you're running fan page ads to a clean startup page then there is no reason for you to get on FB's bad side.

Be careful with adding a funding source to your wife's account - if you ad the same source as with your previous banned account it will surely set off red flags.

Lastly, keep the ads on her account clean i.e. to the fan page only. For other IM campaigns I would make a new account and age it slowly, run legit things. No point in risking your wife's account if you can avoid it.

Now its gone dude. Don't try to run ads on that page again otherwise FB will ban your new account too. FB is STRICT, more strict than it used to be some months back?

Are you saying FB blacklists pages from being advertised? Seems extreme. If the page was non-compliant it would make more sense to remove it.
