CPVLab Tracking Problem (5)

CPVLab Tracking Problem

I understand that CPVLab does not capture 100% all conversions. There would be times that the conversion is registered in the network but not CPVLab. I read somewhere that an estimated ~1% of conversions tend to get missed out by CPVLab. However, recently I found that there are missing conversions almost everyday that does not get captured by CPVLab. I'll have to update subids manually every fortnightly or everyday for the missing conversions to appear.

I'm not sure if this is because of my increased traffic volume the past month, or has it got to do with the latest update of CPVLab ?

What conversion tracking are you using? Image/client-side or a Postback URL?

I have the same problem too and i use image tracking. Hi ivansyl - how do you "update subids manually every fortnightly or everyday for the missing conversions to appear." ?

@lockch - you can get a report listing the converting subids from your affiliate network, then upload those subids to CPVLab under stats -> "Update Stats With Converting Subids"

If you are using img / js pixels that's quite normal. These types of pixels rely on cookies and not everyone has them enabled.

If you use a postback the discrepancy will be lower since it's a direct call from server to server.
