Custom Prosper 202 - Anyone have one??? (6)
Looking to customize prosper or get a version from someone else that has already done this. The features I am looking for are:
Fix for timezone settings
Reporting and functionality for split testing offers as well as LPs
I am also open to looking at another tracking solution but don't really like imobi very well. Was looking at

one of the things I miss about prosper202 is how flexible it was to compare data. rotating offers/LP's was not always its strong point, and the STM version of prosper202 had a feature for rotating LP's simply but IMO was not that great, so I was just using a rotating script for that.
my old room mate had a pretty heavily modified version of prosper202 he made and I was using it for awhile. I can't quite remember everything he did, but I might have it saved somewhere. wouldn't mind having a look myself
Get the STM version of Prosper
Not really. There is no built in LP rotator. It does have a offer or campaign rotator but there is no way to get data or reporting on the offer rotation. (not that I know of).
I also have the STM mobile tracker but it doesn't have the reporting I am after either.

With that said, P202 1.8.2 is coming soon with bunch of new features. The timezone setting issue along with a ton of other bugs have been fixed. Also a proper rotation tool is being built in.
It's cool to mod etc but, unless it's something super specific to your workflow, it's better for it to be added to the core Prosper202. This makes it possible to keep upgrading when new Prosper202 versions come out, thanks to the wordpress style 1-click upgrade feature we will be updating very frequently.
At this point I know of quite a few people who are afraid to upgrade or can't because the new version will break their mods.
I know there are some smart developers on STM, if you have coded up something that you think should be in P202, feel free to send it my way for merging into the core product (With attribution of course). Some of the most useful P202 features came from user submissions. - Reporting API - You can now pull your reports out of Prosper202 via an API call and do some cool stuff with it. For example, if you've ever wanted to do your own custom analysis on your data, you could pull that data right into a google docs spreadsheet
We still have a super long list of features being added before the final 1.8.2 release, take a look at some of the more interesting ones:
- Expanded custom variable. Right now there's c1-c4. We are expanding that out to support 10-15 custom variable in total
- HTML5 charts this will let you view beautifully rendered charts on your mobile device or tablet
- API Integration with all your favorite networks (Pull offers, reports, place pixels, postbacks and more)
- Full API to allow you to manage every aspect of Prosper202 without having to ever login (STM edit: this is being pushed back to another release)
- Smart Self Optimizing Rotator and Splittester (Split up traffic based on multiple factors, geo, browser time, carrier, time of day, day of week, and more then split test them and have Prosper automatically optimize where traffic is sent based on metrics such as conversion rate or eCPM)
