Are you looking for blackhat or whitehat?

viperchill (a mod here) has a superb blog.

I strongly suggest that you go whitehat. It's the only investment that keeps on giving in the long run.

SEO is dead, you are better off buying adwords.

seo is not dead. But if you truly want good seo help, you're probably in the wrong forum. Read up on guys like Sourcewave and viperchill.

unicursal, a few questions:

What is your goal, do you have your own product or service, or are you looking to run cpa offers?
Do you want to build a business or just rank a site for cpa offers?

These days any blackhat link building direct to a site that is in a competitive niche, will get found by Google and your site will eventually get hit, probably with a manual penalty which will kill all it's rankings. That's fine if you expect it and can start over again doing the same thing with one or many new sites.

Going down the whitehat route is more difficult but ultimately worthwhile as you can grow your business and your site will have value.

Follow Alex Becker (SourceWave), Glenn Allsopp (ViperChill), and OMG Machines (mainly Greg Morrison). Don't follow forums like WarriorForum or BlackHatWorld. It's too messy and a lot of bullshit, IMO. You might pick up a few things but if you want specifics, follow those guys mentioned above and learn about Private Blog Network.
