Propser202 vs STM mobile tracker

whats the difference between prosper202 and STM mobile tracker? STM mobile tracker is just a superior version of prosper?

It's a modified version of p202.

The primary difference is that all the tracking is via PHP, i.e. querystrings and postback URLs - no use of cookies and on-page javascript tracking.

It also includes device detection and some other options like offer and lander rotation, redirect rules, etc.

The detection is pretty extensive - geolocation, carrier, device, OS. Very useful for mobile!

It is fine for web traffic. To be clear, tracking systems geared for mobile traffic can always be used for web traffic. We are just sending users to and from different URLs. This is nothing fundamentally different between mobile/desktop users in this respect.

One disadvantage when pushing web traffic through a mobile-orientated system might be a slightly higher processing time due to carrier/handset/etc. lookup that you may not otherwise do for web traffic.
