Traffic Source/Niche

What traffic source and niche would you recommend if I dont want to promote adult, diet, or dating? (From what Ive read so far 80%+ of the niches talked about here include one of the three)

We'll have to wait and see what pans out with the Google App Install stuff right now, but mobile with app installs is a pretty good combination. Alternatively, Facebook and gaming is an ultra-clean vertical/traffic source combo, and one that can really scale too.

Caurmen, thanks for the quick comment. I think I'll go after FB/Gaming to start. I'm pretty new to paid media. However, I have a decent amount of experience driving x,xxx, xxx amount of traffic per month with Outbrain/Taboola.

Hey wesvista, if you want to test traffic aside from FB, our network specializes in consumer software. We have lots of guys making bank via display, ppc, and install traffic. PM me if you're interested in details.

FB is a tough nut to crack. Beginner friendly though.

I'd recommend somewhere like InCrowdAds + mobile games/app/installs.

POF is still a great starting point. You have some of the most insane targeting of any advertising platform, and there's nothing to say you have to use it to push dating offers.

Hi
The good thing about promoting in FB is that you don't need a site to be accepted in their Ad program...
Is it the same for InCrowdAds, POF, ....?
Nico.

@nicolasodc - Getting a site set up isn't a huge deal. Buy a cheap hosting package plus a domain for ten dollars, and use Zeno's agency website setup here: http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...highlight=site

Hi
Thanks for this.
But only having a one page site is enough to get approved? WOn't they actually check that my site is really about what I say I want to advertise?
N.

By 'site' Caurmen meant a website representing your business.

Your initial question sounds as if you are asking if you need a business site to show that you are legitimate - but I take it you may mean that you can direct link if you want to?

Direct linking, i.e. straight to the offer, is fine on the majority of traffic sources, there are few exceptions.

For Decisive (Incrowd) you can definitely direct link. On PoF you can but if you are running dating you generally need a lander to actually have a competitive advantage.

Games on inApp do well, so you can run on buzz city, airpush, leadimpact, and the list goes on..
Other than that u can promote surveys and pin submits on mobile
there's a ton of stuff to do

My question actually was about how to be accepted on an Affiliation Program. I've seen some who requested to have a website related to the core business of the Aff Program...
