Need advice to start with Media Buying

Hi,

I want to try media buying but I don't know where to start.
Do you have any suggestions of guides, post or follow along on this forum? (I searched but found nothing).
Do you suggest to use services like SiteScout and WhatsRunWhere?
Which niche should I try to begin?

Any suggestions you can do for a newbie are welcome!

Thank you!

lol. try searching a bit harder. there are guides everywhere.

every niche has their pros and cons. most people who start off with aff marketing tend to begin with say adult dating web or POF. both those niches are heavily covered on how to start, tips and tricks.

although I dont have much experience in anything other than running adult dating offers, but from what I know you tend to have a lot less to split test (easier on the wallet) and is much much more straight forward

Maybe I don't know how to search but I spent 2 hours last night and I don't found any guides about Media Buying on this forum. I found a lot of awesome information but not what I'm looking for, maybe it just doesn't exist? I saw guides about PoF, FB, PPC etc but not about Media Buys. I searched under "Traffic Sources" / "Media Buying".

Anyway, I thank you for your reply and I will continue to search.

Hey Zeno,

Because my English is not great, I think my problem is that I started reading the posts one after the other, each title seemed interesting!

I know I'll have to learn how to do better search but in the meantime thank you for all these links. It will surely help me.

If you can't find any info on a specific topic on STM, please do ask (as you have done here). We're always more than happy to point out specific guides and posts that will be useful - there's nearly always something on STM that will help, but I know it can be tough to find given just how much info there is here.

Thanks Caurmen!

I was a little shy to ask because I did not want to look lazy but I really searched. The "problem" of STM is that we can be overwhelmed by information but at least this information is awesome!

I'm very well aware that STM's got so much information that it can be difficult to find the bits you need! It's something I'm working on at the moment with the indexes - but in the meantime, please feel free to ask and Your Friendly Local Spidermen - er, I mean, moderators - will jump in with suggestions for you.
