Super newbie question, I haven't been able to find a thread on here that had a tutorial on how to set up prosper202 on knownhost. Could anybody lead me in the right direction?

I was informed it would be $250 for installation. Has anybody on here ever used Knownhost and installed prosper202 themselves?
$250 is exorbitant for that... Is this a managed or unmanaged VPS.
Do you have root access.
Do you have any experience with linux, the console, etc.? The tutorial I linked is about as simple as can get. If it's too hard to follow, chances are an unmanaged VPS are not ideal right now.
If it's a managed VPS and they want $250 for spending 10 minutes or less installing p202 then seriously just leave and go elsewhere... for that price you could pay for 4 months with BeyondHosting who would do this all for you for free...
^^ What he said. Prosper is really not super-complex to install - you can probably manage it no problem! If you want to go with the pre-installed option, getting a Beyond Hosting server would be a much better deal.
