Hi,
2 days ago i started campaign in adwords for display network for mobile(selected all mobile devices) but for two days now not a single impression is coming my way.
Budget was set to $20 a day at first i had few keywords to target but then i thought that might be the reason and that the keywords i selected were not getting impressions and i added lot more keywords and made sure there are some broad ones that do get decent impressions. Still no impressions on my ad. i decided my bid was too low as i started it at $0.5 and i increased it first to $1 then to $5 still no traffic getting to my ad campaign. I have not made any narrow specifications to mobile devices or countries or anything in fact aside the country - Spain i didnt have any other restriction that will narrow down the campaign reach, all mobiles, all OS 1 country.
I am a bit puzzled, where and what am getting wrong any clues ?
Have you looked over your advert and keyword diagnostics to make sure nothing has been disapproved? What does your advert status say?
Status says "Eligible" all keywords say managed all is green no red flags anywhere.
Campaign is Approved.
My tracking showed 100 clicks but nothing is reported on adwords.
Hmm strange. How are you targetting your traffic? You have to specify at least one targetting method before your ads will start to show, and I doubt that those 100 clicks would be coming from AdWords if their interface isn't reporting anything.
My targeting methods were keywords, and yes the report in adwords came several hours later after my clicks on my offer. I had to increase my daily budget to $100 daily budget in order to get some traction and traffic my way. At $20 daily budget even if i set my bid at $5 i am not getting any impressions.
All is resolved now... am proud owner of 528 clicks at $0.17 a piece
with 0.37% ctr but 0 conversions lol
90$ spent at no profit. Wanted to test smaller but i guess thats not possible with adwords display network.
your account is in review i guess
submit a dummy text ad to search network and you will see status of your overall account
Yeah there's usually a delay of up to 3 hours with AdWords.
Have you tried combining your keyword targetting with interest/topic targetting? I always see much better results with AdWords Display when I use multiple target & bid targetting methods rather than just one.
New campaigns and/or accounts you'll often go into "review'.
This process can take 1-3 days on average for them to look over things. It'll then start getting some small traffic. If you make a lot of changes, adjust bids, etc you'll go into review again.
Can't be in a hurry with adwords
