Offer EPC $.08 and avg CPM $.36 - worth it?

*EDIT* Don't know how that post title got in there, maybe an admin want to change it to the above.

Hey guys,

Just gonna start my first mobile campaign (together with a mobile follow along ofc. )

I've looked at an offer with a payout of $.42 (avg. network epc of $.08).

The avg. CPM for my targeted country is 0.36 according to my traffic source (Decisive). I understand that this is an average and will probably vary a whole lot depending on placements etc. But a pretty hefty CPC is required to get this one in the green?

Is it even worth the time setting up a campaign like this, or should I ignore the traffic source's CPM figures?

What I'm trying to get at here: Is it sound to use these figures to estimate the potential of an mobile offer? I would like to execute another approach than the ol' shit at the wall and see what sticks.

Thanks!

Oh, I forgot one thing. Is this Managed VPS server (at 50 bucks a month) from Beyond Hosting holding up for mobile traffic + Voluum or CPV lab tracking?

Specs

Dedicated RAM: 512MB
Burstable RAM: 512MB
CPU Cores: 1
SSD RAID Storage: 50GB
Outbound Transfer / Bandwidth: 500GB

If not, what package do you suggest?

I'd definitely not rule that traffic source / offer combination out. CTRs can be reasonably high on mobile, as can conversions for low-paying offers - nothing in the numbers you've listed would put me off testing it. You could easily end up seeing 4 cent clicks with a 25% conversion rate, meaning a nice healthy 150% roi

That server should be fine until you start pushing high volume - 20,000 clicks or more.
