Hey guys, just of of curiosity.....
What CTR's are considered "Above average, good" on
Mobile Newsfeed and also Desktop Newsfeed?
I'm aware what's good on right hand side only.
Cheers
Desktop news feed , I usually get 0.7% or so, 1% is great for me and ROI is good. If only I had a designer that could make me killer ads, I'd pay good $$$.
You can get 7-10% on desktop if you use girls/skin (muscle or dating verticals - I have achieved 10%+ on desktop and 7%+ on mobile). I am sure many people didn't respond with more details/tips because OP doesn't hint at his demographics... the difference between CTR in 20-29 and 50-59 is MASSIVE (sometimes 300% difference). Then again, the difference is evened out by lower CPC for older clicks.
For some reason though OP wants CTR which is just an arbitrary figure (as explained: unless the demographics are taken into account, it means nothing). The types of News Feed ad also affect the ROI. There's so much to talk about here, the question is not the best, and there have been threads with info about this already...
ummmm yes I was vague but it was in general to be honest. Like with right hand side i will consider a GOOD ctr anything above 0.200 but yes I agree with you, demo ctr obviously varies. It was just an idea for me for when im testing newsfeed ads for fanpage likes. Cheers
1% CTR should be pretty easy in desktop newsfeed...
I can get 1% ctr in news feed pretty easy, but if I use Ocpm I find I normally pay around a $4.00+ cpm for North America and my ROI isn't always the greatest.
MY results are way better on RHS's because that's all I've really dealt with, but I know there's probably better results to be had in newsfeed.
I'm running a few campaigns on news feed, this is what I get.

7-10% on desktop. Can go as high as 50-60%.
