Mobile campaign is tracking windows cliks on voluum!

Hello, i am having an issue, i am running a mobile campaign in australia from tapit Ad, and i am tracking with Voluum, the offer is about antivirus app install android only, so i am targeting only android and i created two campaigns, one wifi only, one carrier only, beside the fact that i am getting the majority of the clicks from wifi, i did not get any covnersions yet, but the weird thing is once i check on Voluum my report i see this ==>http://i.imgur.com/1I5a55g.png and http://i.imgur.com/4nUEKpG.png does anybody know why? I am running DL. On tapit looks fine, but i don't look at their report very often.

Ok so at least now i know it's not tapit's fault, on my Voluum's report i have the variables from tapit and looking at phone_brand those, windows clicks are replaced with samsung and generic, now my question is why Voluum did not detect them in the first place?

Not exactly sure what's going on here... Are you sure you are targeting Android only on both campaigns? Could the Windows/IE stuff be from phones with Windows Mobile OS on them. And are you sure you are looking at the data for the TapIt campaign only?

So you switch to the variables in Voluum and the phone_brand one gives your generic? Are there lots of them? Sounds a bit dodgy, almost like some bot/VM is clicking through rather than a real phone (hence why Voluum would pick it up as IE/Windows).

I spoke to my tapit's AM and he said they have just mobile traffic, i think it's Voluum's problem, and still i see windows as the time goes by, but from the variable phone_brand by tapit on Voluum i see samsung clicks instead of windows.
Anyway of course i am targeting android only, tablets and handsets only, both campaigns. I contacted voluum waiting for an answer back.

Check the ISP/variable data and see if those clicks are also coming from a specific site/placement or carrier. I don't know what database Voluum are using but it makes little sense that it would a) fail to detect A LOT of Android traffic and b) also label those clicks as coming from Internet Explorer. It doesn't add up.

Do those ~130 clicks match up with ~130 from TapIt or are you getting closer to the Android-only click stats.

I'd recommend talking to Voluum's support about this too. I agree with Zeno - it's unlikely they're having problems accurately detecting the handset.

I sent them an email, plus this is what i get from isp_carrier http://i.imgur.com/DcaO76J.png and http://i.imgur.com/sH8tUY0.png

Usually when it doesn't detect the handset, it says generic android like in the picture...

It will likely be the Exigent Enterprise clicks - http://www.exigent.com.au/ - an Australian hosting provider. So, could be bot traffic coming from a VPS? You should ask TapIt! to investigate.

Are all of these clicks showing up in TapIt, i.e. are you paying for them.

I will check with them, thank you
