Does anyone know how to change the time zone on an ad account. Particularly and Agency Account?
Its making me crazy I keep getting these Pacific time zone accounts and I am in Central TimeZone.
Any Help would lead to me sleeping a whole lot more!
Not possible after account creation. You select it during account creation... Only remedy is a new account and/or creating several accounts with different timezones if your goal is to avoid the downtime associated with midnight.
If you want to put campaigns online on midnight, you do know you can schedule a campaign very easily in the Power Editor to go live at midnight, right? If that's not the purpose of your question, ignore this reply ;-).
Not really to Schedule them to start at midnight but I only adjust my spends at the very start of the new day which would be nice if it were 12am. They are at 3am so I wake up at 3am to adjust my spends on the camps I am scaling up.
Unfortunately no way around this. You could use some sort of scheduling system/macro to do it but I wouldn't risk automating campaign spend increases like that haha, can see it going wrong.
No gf? Adopt a different sleep cycle http://www.highexistence.com/alternate-sleep-cycles/
It turns out I'm a filthy liar. At least I will be soon. Facebook appears to be rolling out timezone change functionality, hoorah!

Sounds great, I hope we won't have to re-verify accounts when doing this!
Yep its been roled out on some new accounts.
You can go to settings and click change currency.
This is how it looks

I did just check it and it says when you change currency/time zone that it creates a new account and all old ads get deactivated... so may have some downsides e.g. account history bye bye.
Haha good point ;D
Not possible dude. Give up.
I guess the ideal tactic here is to sert the time zone to match your advertising geo?
If your not able to change, is it wise to pause the ads during really low converting times of the day, eg night for b2b. Or will it affect the ad distribution to the extent that it's not worth it? (Given you have a good and optimized cpc or ocpm campaign running for a while.)
