Hi guys,
I have a campaign in CPV Lab that is nearly going to hit 200k clicks. The problem is that it is almost impossible to work with a large campaign like this. When I open Stats, the page is loading very long (and even not load all data), temperature, memory usage & fan on my Macbook is going crazy. I would like to export those data outside of Lab, so I can work with them (however I think Excel will have problem with this kind of data as well).
How do you solve situations like this? I now have a nice set of data that I would like to optimize on, but I'm not sure if I can.
CPVLab should be able to handle 200k click campaigns - what are the specs on your tracking server?
ya 200k cpv lab should be able to handle like a dream, your hosting is the issue seems like, you need to be on a nice box at beyond hosting, and they can optimize it to your traffic.
I have a custom setup DigitalOcean VPS with nginx, MariaDB, 1GB RAM, hmm, what I should looking at? I think problem could be with my DB setup.
It depends on how many different tokens your tracking. I had the same issue with a campaign that had 500k with 6 additional tokens. Took forever to load with all the tokens being displayed.
I set up "true cache" with the 2.17 update and now it loads up almost instantaneously.
Try pushing the RAM up a bit - that's slightly low for heavy tracking. 4Gb would be a solid point to test.
