Signed up and was approve for Adsimilis...But don't know where to begin exactly. Had that "what have I got myself into feeling today"...but back on track now...
I'm doing POF, been testing things out with ClickBank (just testing images for campaigns), while I was waiting to get approved. I signed up for a few Adsimilis offers, but a little confused on next steps.
Can I do my own creative, if no approval is required?
What links do I use, or do I need to create the unique link also?
My vertical is health and beauty, is this a good choice for POF? Being reading in the forum that POF'er don't buy, seems like everyone is doing dating.
I'm going to email my Account Manager, but wanted to put it out here first.
1. You can use your own creatives unless otherwise specified. Check the offer description - it should spell this out clearly. You may need to get custom creatives approved by your AM if the offer info says so.
2. In Cake, you click the offer > creatives tab. There you will find a tracking link for a specific landing page, perhaps many different landing pages. Sometimes there are links for specific creatives (i.e. banners) but you don't need these. Use whichever link sends you to the landing page you want to use. Note that you don't generate unique links - they are already done for you in the creatives tab.
3. Health & beauty generally involves higher ticket items (what is the payout?) and these aren't an ideal place to start for a newbie, especially if the conversion requires a user to sign up for a free trial and supply credit card details.
4. Dating is done on PoF because it works, and that's what users are there for. People don't browse PoF with a buying mindset, much like Facebook, so selling products to them may be tough.
