Got scammed 8k by andrew.baker348 DONT DEAL WITH HIM
So got scammed pretty good by this guy. I tested him he knew his stuff about fb pretty good. I was desperate for a 5k at the time so i wired him 8k. What do you know he deleted me in 2 days. Now cant get hold of him so prolly bye bye to that money. Has any1 had experience with this? Is there a chance i can open some dispute with my bank on him? Please let me know. Yes i know 8k is cheap for a 5k. The guy really knew his shit around fb tho so i trusted him. andrew.baker348 thats his skype name. Funds was sent to a Moldavian bank account.

If you pay with credit card or paypal you have a protection, not sure how exactly you paid him,
I was scammed once from 3k$, payed with credit card with my paypal account, called to my credit card company (visa) and got the money quite fast..

So many shitty people nowadays getting scam on this STM's member. Nearly got scammed as well myself once, when I challenge him to pay over Paypal instead of wire, he never reply my skype.
I agree with deelash, paypal is a secure payment, you have 45 days protection if there any suspicious or scam transaction. Sorry for your loss. Go get your money back by profiting your campaign! cheers man!

The seller can get scammed very easily with paypal though, all the buyer has to do is dispute the charges, they always side with the buyer.

This is called the cost of doing business anyone who offers a service risks this exact scenario.

This is not always the case. I have won disputes a lot of times with paypal being the seller. Just need to provide them enough proof.

What kind of offers you were planning to run with a 5k on Facebook... Were they scammy dating offers? The irony would be impeccable

This is why you never directly wire your money. Always use paypal, a credit card or some kind of escrow that will allow you to get your money back.

Then again, Paypal is risky for the seller. I've had fraudulent buyers scam me before with chargebacks via the bank. @OP: Next time make sure of the sellers reputation!

- $8k for a $5k account. A little too good to be true, this is where it would've raised some red flags
- You've never done business with this guy but you're going to WIRE him $8k? The way to go is to start by buying $500's from someone and build the trust slowly. Easier to stomach losing $2k, than $8k.
Sorry to hear what happened but you gotta understand that 80% of FB account sellers are scam artists and you need to exercise caution.
Two main advice is build a relationship slowly and see if anyone can "vouch" for the guy.

In this context its tough. Paypal don't like buying/selling Facebook ad accounts. So chances are slim by seller.

I sold my account a year ago, I first let the buyer verify the account and everything via TeamViewer.
However, he first sent me $1k via Paypal, then after making sure I was legit, he wired the other $5k.
My advice is to look for sellers with a track record and known in the forum you are buying from.

Can you call police? This is fraud and should be reported. You must sue them otherwise they will fuck over other innocent niggas.
