CPV Lab missing a big % of my conversions

I've had a pretty strange thing happening with CPV Lab for a while now. When I look at the totals on the main page or under "Stats - Overall Campaign Performance", the overall revenue for a given day is off anywhere from 20 % - 40 % compared to my affiliate network stats (CPV Lab shows way less revenue).

On the other hand, when I look under "Stats - Conversion List" and filter for the same day, the number of conversions + payouts are the same as on my affiliate network.

I currently run pretty much all of my traffic to the same offer, so there shouldn't be any issues with postbacks or anything like that. Plus, the conversions seem to be here, they somehow just don't show up in the "Overall Campaign Performance".

Has anybody had a similiar problem? Any idea how I can fix this? It sucks, because besides my daily P/L statement all my reports now seem to be way off.

My intuition points to a timezone issue - perhaps the overall campaign performance is cutting off a portion of the 'daily' stats cf. those from the affiliate network. E.g. aff network in EST, but server/CPVlab timezone in GMT.

That was my first guess too, but I switched all the timezones (traffic sources in CPV lab + general settings) to the same as my aff network a while ago. Could the server timezone be an issue?

If there was in fact a timezone issue, shouldn't it even out over time? E.g. conversions missing yesterday show up today

Yes - the best way to check would be to look at the all-time campaign conversions stats at both ends as they should be equal.

Ok, so I contacted the CPV Lab Helpdesk to check it out and this is the answer I got:

Hey,

Thank you for your patience.

Most pages from CPV Lab display records based on the date the visitorsentered the campaign, so conversions will be counted in the day the visitor first entered the campaign.

This is required in order to have accurate reports and see exactly what traffic generated the best revenues.

The only page that shows records based on the conversion date is the Conversions List page.

The Affiliate Networks only have details about the moment a visitor converted, not when he saw the LP, that’s why all their reports are based on the conversion date.

If you want to compare conversions between CPV Lab and the Affiliate Network, you should use the Conversion List page based on conversion date.

But for complex reports that show the association between keyword, extra tokens, devices, click, conversions etc you will use the other report pages which are based on view date.

Thanks!
This makes perfect sense as I am running a DOI on mobile traffic and because of that the timeframe from click till the confirmation might be longer than usual.
