As the title says, I'm trying to quickly boost page likes for a page I manage and came across this site - http://spikemylikes.com.
I've heard that most of these are not legit and fill your page up with likes from fake/foreign shell accounts, but this is one I hadn't heard of before.
Anyone have any experience with SpikeMyLikes or any other page like boosting programs?
Thanks.
Of course those will be botted and low quality/non-human likes. What else can you expect?
Don't use them. Their price is insane.
Try this for $5 instead, will give you 2500 "real" likes. I strongly advise against "boosting" a page with a fake number, though, there is simply no point.
What is the point of boosting page likes anyway? Presuming these likes are from fake accounts, or at least ones which are useless for advertising purposes, what advantage does this give you?
Social credibility I would assume.
On what page am I inclined to stick around longer; the page with 134 likes or the page with thousands of likes? Of course it's not a long time strategy and if your posts have zero likes it also looks fishy. But to jump start a page with a few initial likes isn't a bad idea imo. Just expect that they are fake and have a content strategy for real likes in place.
Thank you guys for the feedback. It's what I figured, just thought I'd ask.
Boosting an FB page's fan count is like burning money without the pretty fire to look at. Don't even bother.
A chunk of those shitty fans are going to steal reach on every post. They'll proceed to not engage and fuck up something potentially viral.
The only traffic source that buying fans is useful for is Twitter. 5k followers for 5 bucks can give a new account much needed relevance in an overfilled sea of Twitter accounts in the same niche.
